Consider checking local dining options in advance, especially on quieter days like Monday or Tuesday when the pub may not serve food.

We had a cozy stay in a lovely double room, and I enjoyed the delicious homemade food from the pub while relaxing by the roaring fire. There are nice spots to unwind like the serene garden area and the cozy lounge. The only downside was that there wasn't food available on the Monday night we stayed, but it didn't ruin our time! 😊

The room was really comfy and super clean. I had one of the best night's sleeps here in ages! It felt spacious and cozy, making it a great spot to unwind. The view was nice, overlooking the beer garden too. Just a heads up, some furniture looked a bit worn. I was pretty happy with my stay.

Friendly and accommodating staff made our stay enjoyable.
The room had quite a bit of dust around, especially in the drawers under the bed.

missingWrote a review on 20 Julspacious roommodern decorpoor cleanliness
The Deluxe King Room provided ample space, decorated with a modern touch. Being a non-pet-friendly option meant a more serene atmosphere, which I appreciated for a good night's sleep.
Light seeped into the room, making it less dark than I prefer during sleep, impacting overall comfort. The bathroom setup felt peculiar, with a glass door lacking privacy, and WiFi connectivity was consistently poor, making it hard to stay connected. Accessibility was also a concern. the narrow car park and steep stairs posed issues, especially in wet conditions. Cleaning could use a serious boost. I found dust in places where it shouldn't be. not having any food options available during my stay was a major letdown. The exterior felt a bit rundown, downplaying its charm. a few tweaks could vastly improve the stay here.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at ease. Our room was beautifully designed, offering a peaceful environment despite its pub setting.
We noticed that parking can be a bit limited during busy times.

I liked my stay at the White Horse Inn. The bed? Super comfortable. The room felt cozy and warm after the heating kicked in. Breakfast hit the spot, made from quality ingredients. I appreciated the friendly staff who set up highchairs for my little ones. The atmosphere felt peaceful, even though it’s a pub. the bathroom cleanliness could be better. I noticed some areas that needed attention, and the fridge didn’t have complimentary water. The coffee provided was of low quality, so I had to buy my own. It was a good stay, though not without its flaws.

Had a fantastic time here with my friends! We explored the nearby castle and enjoyed some local pubs. The rooms were comfy and the owner was super friendly. Just a heads up , the place can get a bit noisy on weekends with events. Definitely recommend it for a group getaway!
We encountered a minor issue with the icy metal staircases, which felt a bit risky, especially during winter weather.
